A keyboard, CPU, Mouse, CD/DVD Rom and Monitor are considered to be the basic parts of personal computer hardware. The main part of a normal PC hardware is called Motherboard. USB Ports

A USB is an abbreviation of Universal Serial Bus. The tools that are being used by computer, to communicate with different devices are supported by USB. A USB was invented by the famous computer company known as Intel. A lot of things can be connected to computer through this device. Computer games can also be installed by USB, which everyone enjoys very much. We can also connect our cell phones with the help of USB to a computer, to transfer music, photos and other data. A USB is also known as a standard peripheral device. It was developed in 1994. The USB of 1995 contained much more storage space in it. Then a USB cable was invented to connect other storage devices to a computer. The well known USB connection consists of Micro, Mini and standard plugs. These USB consist of several pins for different connections. Now a days, USB mini and micro connectors are also available. They have a very small diameter from 3mm to 7mm. The total length of data cable is 5 meters. These removable devices are also included in computer hardware.

Some other hardware devices are also available like sound cards and graphic cards. These sound cards are used to produce audio services. The modern motherboard of computer hardware also includes sound cards and graphic cards. Using these sound cards you play high definition videos, games and music, actually anything related to home entertainment.
